CHECKPOINT 01

Record the exact client

A desktop installation, browser client and mobile app can connect to the same account while offering different tools. Write down the version and operating system rather than treating every client as interchangeable.

CHECKPOINT 02

Check the account connection

Confirm the account server and account type inside each client. A successful login does not establish that every product, order type or automation feature is available. Keep any compatibility statement from the broker with its date.

CHECKPOINT 03

Inspect the order lifecycle

Find out how pending orders, stops and amendments appear across devices. Test a harmless sequence in a demo environment and compare the resulting history. Do not use a live position merely to evaluate the interface.

CHECKPOINT 04

Keep integrations distinct

An API, charting integration or copy feature is a separate capability. Check permissions, failure handling and the ability to revoke access. Our matrix keeps these fields separate so that the presence of one does not imply another.

CHECKPOINT 05

Use the dated capability record

Platform support changes. Open the source attached to a capability and check the date, account and region. If the record is absent, our comparison says not checked rather than making a prediction.
